Top-of-the-line care

At Hanson Dentistry, our services are comprehensive and our staff is focused on offering great customer service that complements our quality dental care. Our modern, state-of-the-art office in Independence, MO, office provides top-of-the-line care for all of our patients.

Your initial visit to our office will include:

  • A comprehensive exam to evaluate and discuss any areas of concern
  • Diagnostic X-rays
  • Periodontal screening
  • An oral-cancer screening
  • A TMJ screening
  • Intraoral photographs

Important: Please bring the names of any medications that you are currently taking. Some medications may affect your dental treatment.

Forms

To help you achieve your dental-health goals, good communication with the doctor and staff is essential. You are always encouraged to participate in deciding what level of treatment is appropriate to your circumstances and to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your proposed treatment plan.

Appointments

An appointment in our office means that we have set aside time especially for you and your needs. We appreciate your keeping appointments at the time scheduled. If, for any reason, you need to reschedule your appointment, please call us 24 hours in advance. This helps us meet the needs of all our patients in the best way possible.

Referrals

The nicest compliment you can give us is by referring your family and friends to Hanson Dentistry. If someone you know needs dental care, please have them call us to set up an initial exam with Dr. Hanson.

Emergencies

With regular dental visits and proper home care, the chance of developing a serious tooth problem is relatively small. Unfortunately, dental emergencies sometimes do occur and need to be addressed immediately. We will make every effort to accommodate you as soon as possible, often on the same day you call.

Financial Statement

Your dental care is an important investment. Proper dental care is directly related to your medical and psychological well-being. Don’t let financial obligations be an obstacle to your obtaining dental care. Dr. Hanson is sensitive to your financial needs and offers a number of payment options.

  • Option 1: Cash or check
  • Option 2: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, or debit cards
  • Option 3: CareCredit or Citi-Bank. These are loan-based plans through which Dr. Hanson can offer you interest-free financing for 3, 6, 12, or 18 months, depending on your balance. These plans also offer up to 5 years of financing for larger treatment plans at a nominal interest rate.

Insurance

We accept most dental insurance plans. We know that insurance can be very confusing. Our goal is to help in maximizing your benefits, but your insurance contract is between your employer and the insurance carrier; we are a third party.

As a courtesy, immediately following your appointment, we prepare our insurance claim for same-day filing. In addition to filing your claim, we ask that you pay your estimated co-payment. Please understand that this is only an estimate based upon data available to us. Thank you for paying at the time of service. Please note: We DO NOT accept Medicaid, HMO, or DMO policies. We apologize for any inconvenience.
